Shakotan Boogie (シャコタン★ブギ ) is a manga by Michiharu Kusunoki, detailing the adventures of two brothers interested in shakotan, extremely lowered street cars.

A self-titled live-action movie adaptation was released in 1987.
A series of OVAs based on the manga were released in 1991 and 1992.
A series of arcade racing games based on manga, developed and published by Sega, was released in 1994 as Shakotan Boogie: The Arcade (シャコタン★ブギ THE ARCADE), using Sega Model 2 arcade board. The game was later ported to Sega Saturn in 1996 as Shakotan Boogie: The Final Legend (シャコタン★ブギ:最後の伝説 Shakotan★ bugi: Saigo no densetsu ). The Sega Saturn version had more features than its arcade counterpart. The sequel to these games, Shakotan Boogie: Return (シャコタン★ブギ:リターン Shakotan★ bugi: Ritān ), which produced by Namco, and distributed through Sega, were released in early 2002 as an arcade game based on Namco System 246. The Genki-distributed version was later ported to Playstation 2. All of these games were released only in Japan.
